The Retro 13 is one of the most recognizable and popular shoes in the Jordan line. Originally debuted in 1997, it was the 13th shoe released by Air Jordan. His Airness wore it on the court as he won his sixth and final championship. It’s another shoe designed by the shoe whisperer Tinker Hatfield. These shoes take their inspiration from one of Jordan’s other nicknames: Black Cat. The shoe itself is partially modeled after a panther, with an outsole shape inspired by a panther’s paw and the upper featuring a holographic “cat eye” Jumpman logo. Retro 13 shoes are a force to be reckoned with. They're a favorite of collectors and streetwear aficionados because of their unique combination of a slick silhouette, premium materials, and top-of-the-line comfort. Like all Air Jordans, these shoes are just as at home on the streets as they are on the hardwood. How you wear them is up to you.
